I was a stay-at-home mom desiring to join the workforce again, so I applied myself working as a substitute teacher at McFerran Early Childhood in the Jefferson County School System in Lou Ky. for a remarkable eight years. Despite coming from a background in hairstyling, I discovered a deep love for working with children during my time there. As I observed the lack of engagement between teachers and students, I witnessed a cascade of challenging behaviors and missed opportunities for learning.
